Deeya Power Industries offers Online UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Service, which is a type of UPS that offers the highest level of power protection and reliability. Unlike Line Interactive UPS units that I mentioned earlier, an Online UPS provides continuous power protection regardless of the input power quality.

- Double Conversion Technology: An Online UPS uses a double conversion process. The incoming AC power is first converted to DC power, which is then used to charge the UPS's internal battery. Simultaneously, the DC power is inverted back to clean AC power that is used to supply connected devices. This constant conversion ensures that the connected devices receive stable and consistent power, even if the input power quality is poor.
- No Switching Delay: Since the Online UPS is constantly running the conversion process, there is no switching delay in case of power outages. The devices connected to the UPS don't experience any interruption or transition time to battery power because they are always powered by the inverter.
- Isolation from Power Fluctuations: The double conversion process isolates the connected devices from any fluctuations, surges, or sags in the input power. This provides a higher level of protection against power disturbances, making it ideal for sensitive equipment like servers, data centers, medical devices, and critical industrial machinery.
- Battery Backup: Like other UPS types, an Online UPS also has a built-in battery that provides backup power in case of outages. The continuous operation of the double conversion process ensures that there's no gap between the power source switching from utility power to battery power.
While Online UPS systems provide excellent power protection, they tend to be more expensive and less energy-efficient compared to Line Interactive UPS units. This is because of the constant conversion process that the Online UPS employs. However, if you require the highest level of power protection for critical equipment and can afford the cost, an Online UPS is a reliable choice.
